“Better Than Anything” Oreo Cake


“sure, the cake is good…just not “I got a pony” good”

This delicious dessert is oh-so-good!! I’ve made this cake twice and received numerous compliments and both times it’s been made, my guests didn’t waste any time and immediately dove into the chocolatey goodness before I could snap a picture of it with the yummy toppings!! Better Than Anything Cake??…Decide for yourself!! 😉

1 box devil’s food cake mix and any ingredients it requires
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (16 oz) jar chocolate sauce
1 container cool whip thawed to room temp
Crushed Oreo Cookies, for topping

Bake cake according to directions in a 9×13 pan. While cake is baking, place Oreo Cookies in a ziplock bag and crush with a rolling pin, set aside.
Let cake cool for about 5 minutes.
Poke holes in cake with the handle of a wooden spoon.
While cake is still warm, slowly pour sweetened condensed milk over the top making sure some gets in all the holes of the cake.
Drizzle the chocolate sauce evenly over the cake, making sure some gets in all the holes as well.
Spread cool whip over the top evenly.
Sprinkle with crushed Oreo Cookies
Store in refrigerator until ready to eat. Store any leftovers in refrigerator, covered.
