Crockpot BBQ Beer Chicken Sandwiches


“Bite Me”

With a few minutes and a few ingredients, you have a simple, cheap, and delicious meal!! These sandwiches were very flavorful and very filling!! They will certainly be added to our famous “recipe repeats!!” 😉

4-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 can of your favorite beer OR 1 can chicken broth
Favorite barbecue sauce, (I used Sweet Baby Ray’s) approximately 1/2 a bottle (Eyeball amount)

Generously spray crockpot with cooking oil. Add chicken to crockpot. Add spices on top of chicken. Add beer or broth and barbecue sauce, stir. Cook on low for 8 hours, giving it a quick stir now and then if needed. After 8 hours, remove chicken and place on a plate to shred, toss chicken back into crockpot when finished. Add more barbecue sauce if desired. Stir chicken to coat and let sit for 10-15 minutes before serving to absorb everything. Top with homemade cole slaw for extra yumminess and crunchiness!! 🙂
