Maple Bourbon Chicken Leg Drummers And Homemade Buffalo Sauce

“Golly, liquor is quicker”

These yummy chicken leg drummers were very easy and very delicious!! They would be a perfect football food and I bet they’d be amazing on the grill or smoked!! I had my legs “naked” and J spun his in the homemade buffalo sauce. The bottom picture is the buffalo sauce, hot stuff is not for me, but J loved it! Enjoy!! šŸ™‚

Marinade:

2 Tablespoons worcestershire sauce
2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 Tablespoons hot sauce
2 Tablespoons Real Maple Syrup
2 shots Bourbon
Kosher Salt and Pepper

Put 12 chicken legs in a large ziploc baggie, add kosher salt and black pepper. Add all the marinade ingredients. Close bag tightly and squish everything around so all chicken is coated. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Place a wire rack in a rimmed cookie sheet to cook, to help heat circulate.
Cook 1-1 1/2 hours in oven at 300, until legs are cooked through.

Buffalo sauce:
3 Tablespoons butter
Little garlic or garlic salt and pepper
Add 1/3 cup hot sauce
Add a shot of Bourbon, Optional

In a sauce pan, melt butter and add remaining ingredients, stir.
