Homemade Meatballs and Marinara Sauce


As promised, She served him his balls on a tray” 😉

I am a big pasta fan, I would eat pasta every night if my hubby would let me! These recipes are simply delicious and thanks to them, my husband agrees to pasta all the time!! Hope you enjoy!! 😉

Homemade Baked Meatballs:

1/2 lb. Ground Beef
1/2 lb. Ground Sausage
1 Cup Panko Bread Crumbs
1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
2 Eggs whisked with 1/2 Cup of Milk
Flat Leaf Parsley, Chopped Finely
2 Tbls Fresh Basil, Chopped Finely
Salt and Pepper To Taste
Olive Oil

Combine all ingredients, except for olive oil. Mix by hand until completely combined. Form golf ball size balls by hand and place on a cookie sheet. Drizzle with Olive Oil

Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes

(Once cooked, I add the meatballs to the sauce and simmer on low until pasta is ready!)


Homemade Marinara Sauce:

1 Large can (1lb) of Tomato Sauce
1 14.5 oz can of Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes with Chillies OR Fire Roasted
1 6 oz can Tomato Paste
1 tsp. Basil
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Onion salt
1/2 thyme
1/2 tsp Oregano
Fresh Flat Leaf Parsley, Finely Chopped


Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan. Cover. Cook on low heat, stirring every few minutes or as needed. Add meatballs and simmer until pasta is ready!
